BNP antibody, Mouse anti-human BNP antibody, Brain natriuretic peptide Antibody

Urinary natriuretic peptide (NPs) is a kind of hormone with sodium, diuretic, vasodilatation, antagonizing renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system and so on. Including (type A,B, D,V). B-type brain natriuretic peptide, also known as urinary natriuretic peptide, BNP was first isolated from the pig brain by the Japanese scholar Sudoh. It is a biologically active natural hormone synthesized by cardiomyocytes, mainly from ventricles, and also exists in brain tissue.

proBNP was digested into NT-proBNP, a non-active 76-amino acid amino terminal part, and BNP, a biologically active 32-amino acid. There is a very important disulfide bond in the molecular structure of BNP, which forms a ring structure and can bind to the natriuretic peptide receptor to play a biological role.

BNP has a half-life of 22min and poor stability in plasma. It is one of the most sensitive and specific markers in cardiac dysfunction. The Heart Failure Guidelines 2018 recommended BNP/NT-proBNP as an important tool for the screening, diagnosis, differential diagnosis and prognosis of heart failure.

The BNP paired antibody optimized by Abgree can be well applied to chemiluminescence and POCT after feedback from multiple users based on clinical test data.
