Datalog: F7076
Introduction:
Recombinant human Factor XIIIa.
Plasma Factor XIII [pFXIII] is a tetramer composed of two A subunits [FXIII-A] and two B subunits [FXIII-B] held together by non-covalent bonds. In the circulation pFXIII is bound to the γ-chain of Fibrinogen. Intracellular Factor XIII, including platelet Factor XIII, comprises only the FXIII-A subunits and exists as a homodimer of the A subunit . FXIII-A is produced in cells of bone marrow origin whereas FXIII-B is produced in the liver by the hepatocytes
